This evocative painting captures the paradox of self-imposed blindness while celebrating the power of hope and resilience. The central figure—a man standing confidently with his arms crossed—wears an orange scarf over his eyes, reminiscent of a prisoner’s uniform.

Yet, he also wears glasses, symbolizing his belief in his own ability to see clearly. These glasses, however, reflect a gentle misperception: while he thinks his vision simply needs correction, it is the scarf that truly limits him. This contrast invites us to question the limitations we accept without challenge, and instead, to look inward and embrace our potential for growth and clarity.
